Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate oncology nursing care to patients throughout their treatment journey
Administer chemotherapy and supportive medications while monitoring for side effects
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and symptom management
Collaborate with oncologists and the care team to coordinate individualized treatment
Document assessments and interventions accurately to support continuity of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
BLS certification required
Chemotherapy certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Knowledge of oncology medications and protocols
Ability to provide emotional support to patients and families
