Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate oncology and women's surgical nursing care to patients on a 24-bed unit
Collaborate with a dedicated team of 4-6 RNs, CNAs, and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Administer treatments and monitor patients through procedures such as pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis
Utilize Cerner EMR to document care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
Float occasionally to other med-surg units when needed while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
BLS certification required
Chemo certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Team player with a willingness to learn and grow

Knowledge & Skills

Strong oncology and med-surg nursing knowledge
Comfortable with standard unit equipment and Cerner EMR
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
Adaptable to floating to other med-surg units when needed
