Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional post-operative cardiac surgery care to patients in a 16-bed CVICU
Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced cardiac devices including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage PA catheters with precision and expertise
Collaborate with a 24/7 intensivist and strong nursing team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Execute critical procedures including central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
Float as needed to support other ICU units while maintaining excellence in patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong critical care experience required
CVICU experience essential for success in this specialized unit
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care settings
Proficiency with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required
Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT devices

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced cardiac surgery recovery protocols
Hemodynamic monitoring and PA catheter management
ECMO, Centrimag, and LVAD patient care
Phillips bedside telemetry and Alaris IV pump systems
Meditech documentation proficiency
Strong critical thinking and rapid response capabilities
