Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver personalized treatment plans
Educate patients and families on recovery plans and next steps
Document care accurately and maintain a safe, supportive environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or telemetry experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring
IV management
Patient education
Care coordination
Electronic medical records
