Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum three shifts per week with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert ventilator and BiPAP management to patients in critical care and emergency settings
Perform aerosol treatments and assist with advanced procedures like intubation and arterial line insertion
Support bedside bronchoscopy procedures to enhance patient outcomes
Collaborate daily with interdisciplinary teams to provide top-notch respiratory care
Float across all inpatient units and two 10-bed ICUs to broaden your clinical experience
Utilize cutting-edge equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators and Vapotherm systems

Qualifications

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in critical care or emergency settings
Comfortable working with various ventilators and BiPAP equipment
Strong documentation skills with Meditech experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and emergency respiratory therapy expertise
Ventilator and BiPAP management proficiency
Aerosol treatments and advanced airway procedures
Arterial line insertion and bedside bronchoscopy assistance
AIDET communication for exceptional patient experience
