Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Med/Surg nursing care with pediatric considerations
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient-centered care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe patient transitions
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to ensure competency

Qualifications

Current RN license (Washington) or ability to obtain WA licensure
Clinical experience in Med/Surg and pediatrics (experience preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
Ability to participate in orientation as indicated by the facility
Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
Current immunizations and ability to meet facility background checks

Knowledge & Skills

Solid Med/Surg nursing skills with pediatric care awareness
Patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Professional documentation and time-management skills
Compassionate patient and family-centered communication
