Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care to patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and communicate clearly with families
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR promptly
Participate actively in orientation and unit training to maintain high standards
Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current RN license in Washington or eligible for WA licensure
Experience or training in Medical-Surgical nursing; pediatric experience is a plus
Current BLS certification required; PALS or pediatric certifications encouraged
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to meet facility requirements (background check, drug screen, immunizations)

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and IV therapy
Pediatric care principles and age-appropriate interventions
Accurate EMR charting and documentation
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
Time management and prioritization in a dynamic clinical setting
