Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care to patients
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing interventions
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary team members
Monitor patient status and respond to changes with sound clinical judgment
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures and discharge instructions
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
Experience or comfort working in Med/Surg and pediatric patient populations
BLS required; PALS or pediatric certifications preferred
Strong clinical assessment, prioritization and communication skills
Ability to complete facility onboarding and orientation

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Adult and pediatric patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with EMR/charting and accurate documentation
Infection control and safety procedures
Teamwork, clear communication, and patient/family education
Triage, prioritization and basic critical thinking in acute care
