Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with clinical excellence
Perform thorough assessments, create plans of care, and evaluate patient progress
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Maintain a safe environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and contribute ideas to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse license for Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications encouraged
Clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team
Reliable documentation skills and comfort using electronic health records

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment abilities
Medication administration and safe handling practices
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
Time management, organization, and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
Team collaboration and effective communication with patients and colleagues
