Location: Albuquerque, NM

Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 AM (Day shift), Meal: 30 minutes

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care with professionalism
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess and document patient status, changes, and care provided
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the care team to optimize outcomes
Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly to the care team
Support transitions of care and communicate clearly with families
Follow facility policies and infection control practices to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice, or eligible to obtain one
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
Previous LPN experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent completed from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic nursing assessments and infection prevention
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Time management, prioritization, and teamwork
Clinical observation and escalation of changes in condition
