Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess patient status and report changes to the care team promptly
- Document patient care, vital signs, and interventions clearly in the chart
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care
- Support patient comfort, education, and discharge planning when appropriate
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure (state license required or eligible to obtain)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Proof of required immunizations and background checks as per facility policy
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation
- Patient assessment and basic nursing interventions
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
