Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients according to plan
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
- Assist with assessments, basic procedures, and timely reporting of concerns
- Support patient comfort, education, and discharge planning when appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility protocols
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Previous LPN experience preferred; clinical competency in med administration and patient care
- BLS/CPR certification required (or must obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently on per diem shifts
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Patient-centered care and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Time management and prioritization during longer day shifts
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting workflows
