Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that improves outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to facility policy
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress accurately
• Assist with care planning and communicate changes to the care team promptly
• Support patient comfort, hygiene, and mobility needs with dignity and respect
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain
• Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; new graduates with completed LPN training are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and following documentation standards

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Wound care basics and safe infection control techniques
• Effective time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with standard nursing procedures and safety protocols
