Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients during the night shift
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document accurately
- Perform routine patient assessments and report changes in condition
- Maintain clear, timely charting and handoff communication
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education as needed
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Previous LPN experience preferred; per diem/night shift experience is a plus
- Ability to work a 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM night shift on a per diem basis
- Reliable clinical judgment and patient-centered bedside manner
- Ability to complete required facility onboarding and compliance training
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Proficient documentation and basic electronic health record use
- Safe medication administration and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
