Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 7:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Day)

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in the Hopkins Center
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
Document care thoroughly in the medical record to ensure continuity
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Support residents and families with clear communication and patient education
Follow facility policies, infection control practices, and safety procedures

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); able to practice in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with medication administration, basic assessments, and documentation
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent practical nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing principles and practical patient care
Skillful medication administration and infection control practices
Ability to perform accurate vital sign assessment and basic clinical observations
Comfortable with electronic charting and clear documentation
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and teammates
