Shift Type: Rotating night shifts including weekends, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night shift; typical 12-hour rotation per unit schedule)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate GE Discovery 1.5T MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform MRI scans with care and precision to provide clear information for clinicians
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, including screening for MRI contraindications
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech
- Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to prioritize urgent studies
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and escalate issues appropriately
- Follow infection control, safety policies, and MRI safety zone procedures
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while working independently on night shifts
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Experience with GE Discovery 1.5T MRI systems
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR for documenting exams
- Ability to work independently, flexible schedule, comfortable working nights and weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient screening
- Proficient in MRI physics and pulse sequence selection for quality imaging
- Skilled in patient positioning and immobilization for diagnostic accuracy
- Good communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Troubleshooting skills for basic equipment and workflow issues
- Attention to detail for image quality control and accurate documentation
