Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Support mobility and safe transfers while following safe patient handling practices
- Observe, record, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and communicate respectfully with families and team members
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (or equivalent) — current and in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfort working with older adults and empathy for geriatric care needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans
- Willingness to pass required background checks and screenings
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved GNA program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, observation and reporting
- Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
- Ability to use basic charting/EHR systems or willingness to learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with seniors
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
