Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem schedule (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening / Second Shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and mobility needs
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and resident status
Support the nursing team with safe transfers and turning schedules
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes in resident condition
Create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident dignity and comfort

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Reliable, professional, and able to work a per-diem schedule including evenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in resident personal care and assistance with ADLs
Basic knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Good communication and teamwork skills with residents, families and staff
Comfortable using electronic documentation systems or willing to learn
