Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / Varies, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility support to promote independence
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Document care accurately and promptly in resident records
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate with residents and families with empathy and professionalism
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Comfort working independently on night shifts and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and ADL assistance
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Infection prevention and safe handling procedures
Clear, timely documentation and charting
Good time management and prioritization on busy shifts
Strong interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
