Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and support with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, always prioritizing dignity and comfort.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and coworkers.
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing.
• Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania and ability to pass required background checks.
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but eager learners encouraged to apply.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care techniques and safe transfer methods.
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills.
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans.
• Infection prevention and adherence to facility protocols.
• Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills.
