Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers and mobility while promoting patient independence
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
Document care and observations accurately in resident records

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Compassionate attitude, reliable attendance, and strong teamwork skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting helpful but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, safe resident handling
Working knowledge of infection prevention and resident safety practices
Comfortable with bedside documentation and clear verbal communication
Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
Respectful, patient-centered approach to diverse resident needs
