Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms for a high-volume patient load (unit average ~336 patients), keeping patient safety front and center
• Operate GE Carescape to add/discharge patients and build accurate end-of-shift reports
• Respond to alarms and communicate clearly and promptly with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone application
• Maintain an accurate running call log and document handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks while remaining calm during high-stress events
• Contribute to a positive, organized unit culture by following unit policies and demonstrating professional attendance and reliability

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in remote monitoring or telemetry (required)
• Telemetry competency and ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test (required)
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret heart rhythms
• Proficient typing and basic computer skills; comfortable using iPhone applications
• Good attendance, professional demeanor, and strong written/read English skills
• CNA or cardiac nursing background preferred
• ECG-board certification and prior GE monitoring experience are a plus
• No specific required certifications listed for this role

• Cardiac rhythm analysis and telemetry monitoring

• Remote monitoring workflows and high-volume alarm management
• Medical terminology and clinical communication
