Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality inpatient physical therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans
• Use basic and specialty rehab equipment (parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling/hoyer lifts) safely and effectively
• Document patient care clearly and timely using Sunrise Allscripts
• Collaborate with OT, ST, nursing and therapy leadership to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage patient caseloads efficiently while maintaining patient-centered care and safety
• Provide acute care interventions for cardiac, vascular and orthopedic patients
• Participate in unit staffing, occasional floats, and the department's weekend coverage rotation

Qualifications

• NH Physical Therapy License (must have)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must have)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (acute care experience preferred)
• Experience with inpatient therapy, patient evaluations and treatment
• Familiarity with Sunrise Allscripts documentation (preferred)
• Vestibular experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills for acute care populations
• Skilled in use of basic rehab equipment and safe patient handling techniques
• Comfortable working with cardiac, vascular and orthopedic diagnoses
• Clear, professional documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to float to different inpatient units and cover ED when needed
