Shift Type: 4x10 Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (four 10-hour day shifts per week); limited weekend coverage required (every other weekend)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams across a wide range of studies including vascular CTA, abdomen/pelvis, chest, head, spine, and musculoskeletal protocols
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely and document reactions per policy
- Start peripheral IVs when indicated and ensure patient comfort during procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens CT scanners and use PACS for image management
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely patient care
- Provide clear, accurate charting in Epic or preferred charting systems
- Maintain radiation safety standards and adhere to facility protocols for all patient populations
Qualifications
- ARRT CT certification preferred; ARRT R also preferred
- Current Washington state radiologic technologist license (or eligible)
- BLS certification required (or obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience; travel experience required
- Experience with vascular CTA and brain perfusion a plus
- Comfortable with adult and pediatric patient populations and a variety of clinical settings (ED, acute care, outpatient)
- Familiarity with Siemens scanners and PACS is preferred
- Ability to work limited weekends and occasional on-call shifts
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent)
- ARRT certification (CT preferred) and state licensure required or eligible
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols including CTA, abdomen/pelvis, chest, head, spine, and musculoskeletal exams
- Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration and IV insertion
- Proficient with PACS and image post-processing
- Able to perform a broad range of X-ray procedures (extremities, chest, abdomen, spine, head)
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems
- Excellent patient communication and comfort measures across age groups
- Familiarity with trauma, emergency department workflows, and high-volume settings
