Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams, including studies with and without contrast, to support accurate diagnoses
• Execute Code Stroke and perfusion protocols quickly and reliably when time matters most
• Operate and maintain CT equipment such as GE Optima and GE Tempo to ensure safe, functional imaging
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in Cerner/Citrix EMR and Philips PACS
• Collaborate with emergency, inpatient and outpatient teams to deliver compassionate patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards while optimizing image quality
• Assist with multi-modality imaging needs as required, supporting the broader imaging team

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Minimum 2+ years CT experience (emergency, inpatient, outpatient experience a plus)
• Comfortable performing CT studies with and without contrast and Code Stroke/perfusion protocols
• Experience with PACS and Cerner/Citrix EMR preferred
• Multi-modality experience (x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, mammography) is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Computed Tomography (CT) including contrast and non-contrast protocols
• Familiarity with Code Stroke workflows and perfusion imaging
• Hands-on experience with GE Optima and GE Tempo CT scanners
• Comfort using Philips PACS and Cerner/Citrix EMR for image review and documentation
• Strong patient care skills across emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings
• Ability to work independently on night shifts while coordinating with on-call staff
