Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate progressive care and telemetry nursing to inpatient medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and bedside monitor data, intervening promptly as needed
• Deliver efficient care for short-stay patients and manage quick turnover with attention and accuracy
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and maintain recommended patient ratios
• Float to other units when requested and adapt to varied patient acuity
• Maintain unit standards, follow dress code, and promote a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (state licensure required)
• Minimum 2+ years clinical experience (progressive care/telemetry experience strongly preferred)
• Telemetry competency and demonstrated progressive care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a patient-centered approach
• Willingness to float and work every other weekend as required
