Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered bedside care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments following facility protocols
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient status accurately and timely
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe care environment
- Respond professionally to patient needs and emergent situations
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (New Hampshire license preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or willing to obtain
- Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on a per diem basis
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Previous LPN experience in a clinical setting preferred
Education
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certificate or diploma; state licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation
- Proficient in basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting practices
- Good clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- Strong infection control practices and safe patient handling techniques
