Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Document patient care and treatments clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to deliver coordinated care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
• Respond calmly and effectively to urgent situations and escalate when needed

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential or completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Comfortable with medication administration, patient assessments, and standard nursing procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to work per-diem shifts including the 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM AP shift

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program; LPN credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of basic nursing principles and patient safety practices
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Good clinical judgment, prioritization, and time management
• Professional communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
