Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform routine assessments and document changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up needs
Advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and best outcomes

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtain upon hire
Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
Comfortable with 12+ hour shifts and flexible scheduling

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic assessment skills: vital signs, wound checks, ADL support
Familiarity with electronic medical record charting and care plans
Infection control principles and safe patient handling
Good time management, prioritization, and patient advocacy
