Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary based on facility needs), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance following facility protocols
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy policies at all times
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential for VT or NH (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Comfortable working evenings and flexible per diem schedules
- Excellent communication, compassion, and teamwork skills
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved LNA training program and current LNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs and observation reporting
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Infection prevention and hygiene best practices
- Time management and reliable documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
