Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients with dignity and respect
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and communicate changes promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Ensure clear, timely documentation and safe handoffs between shifts

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Hampshire required
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Comfortable working per diem/variable schedules and adapting to different team settings
• Prior LPN experience preferred; open to experienced and transitioning clinicians alike
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing (LPN/Vocational Nursing) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Safe medication administration and documentation practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic charting and accurate recordkeeping
