Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming with dignity and compassion
• Provide safe patient transfers and mobility support to prevent falls and injuries
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Support mealtime assistance and ensure patient comfort during meals
• Maintain accurate documentation and report observations to nursing staff promptly
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — VT or NH license indicated in posting
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and work as part of a team
• Previous experience as an LNA is a plus; new graduates and those re-entering the workforce are encouraged to apply

Education

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and ADLs
• Comfortable performing vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Familiarity with patient safety protocols and infection prevention
• Good time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with patients and team members
