Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support for residents’ daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote dignity and independence
- Monitor and document resident conditions and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices, keeping safety a top priority
- Deliver timely and respectful personal care while building trusting relationships
- Contribute to a positive team culture by collaborating with nursing staff and other departments
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (VT or NH) as required for this role
- Comfortable and capable working night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Ability to follow facility policies, maintain patient confidentiality, and document accurately
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements (background check, health screening) as applicable
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- LNA certification in good standing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient-care skills with emphasis on activities of daily living
- Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Basic infection control practices and safe handling techniques
- Observation and documentation of resident status and care given
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during night shifts
