Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49.58 - $34.71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily calendar
Verify patient information and assist with dental records filing
Use dental terminology accurately when coordinating care with the clinical team
Communicate clearly with patients in English and Spanish as needed
Document patient interactions in the electronic record system and maintain confidentiality
Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to keep the front office running smoothly

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience in a general office setting
Experience in a dental office setting preferred
Familiarity with dental terminology and dental records filing preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Experience with EPIC is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Office administration and front desk operations
Dental terminology and dental records management
Appointment scheduling and calendar management
Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
Comfortable learning and using EPIC or similar electronic health records
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential patient information
Clear bilingual communication (English/Spanish)
