Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varies (per diem), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe nursing care during night shifts for residents
Assess, monitor, and accurately document resident conditions and changes
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and policy
Collaborate with the nursing team and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
Respond promptly to urgent resident needs and escalate concerns appropriately
Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Participate in clear shift handoffs and maintain thorough, timely charting

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Massachusetts or active RN license in Massachusetts
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on resident care
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills

Education

Graduation from an accredited LPN program or RN nursing program (as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and medication administration
Familiarity with long-term care/rehab nursing practices
Accurate documentation and electronic medical record use
Infection control and safe patient handling
Clear communication with residents, families, and care teams
Ability to prioritize and respond in fast-paced situations
