Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Night (days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patients, document changes, and communicate concerns to the care team
Perform wound care, vital signs checks, and routine nursing procedures
Collaborate with nursing staff and allied professionals to support resident well-being
Support transitions of care with clear, timely documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

Current LPN license for Massachusetts (required)
Active basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first attitude
Ability to work independently on night shifts and manage workload effectively

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Comfortable with electronic charting and concise clinical documentation
Familiarity with infection control standards and patient safety practices
Good assessment skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
