Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Assess resident conditions and communicate changes to the care team promptly
- Document care activities clearly and maintain accurate clinical records
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence
- Participate in safety practices, infection control, and quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing/rehab environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-first mindset
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehab preferred but open to confident new grads
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or equivalent diploma/certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
- Wound care fundamentals and ADL assistance
- Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in busy situations
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
