Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
Assess resident conditions and communicate changes to the care team promptly
Document care activities clearly and maintain accurate clinical records
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence
Participate in safety practices, infection control, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing/rehab environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-first mindset
Previous experience in long-term care or rehab preferred but open to confident new grads

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or equivalent diploma/certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
Wound care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn quickly
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in busy situations
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
