Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert telemetry and acute care nursing for a med-surg unit, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes
• Assess, monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and intervene appropriately for dysrhythmias
• Administer and manage IV and PCA pumps with attention to safe medication practices
• Document care accurately using Meditech Expanse to maintain continuity and compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Conduct bedside care conferences and safety rounding to promote excellent patient experience
• Support unit workflow, assist with orientation to unit-specific policies, and float as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (acute care/telemetry experience at least 1 year preferred and explicitly requested)
• Dysrhythmia recognition skills and demonstrated telemetry competency
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable using Meditech Expanse and proficient with IV and PCA pumps
• Ability to work with a 6:1 patient ratio and adapt to unit staffing patterns
