Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform precise EKG lead placement and provide continuous cardiac monitoring
- Serve as room circulator and scrub tech, maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Impella and IABP support
- Support electrophysiology studies, ablations, cardiac mapping, and device implants including pacemaker and AICD insertion and programming
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and specialty devices such as Rotablator and temporary pacemakers
- Document procedures accurately in EPIC and communicate findings clearly with the multidisciplinary care team
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond to emergent cases as required
- Follow protocols and infection control standards to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience (travel experience required); first-timers are not accepted
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; ARRT-R or CCI RCIS; WA RT or CIS License (as specified)
- Current Washington licensure required; pending licenses are not accepted
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (1 call day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks)
- Locals within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract
Knowledge & Skills
- EKG lead placement and rhythm interpretation
- Cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI and PTCA
- Structural heart procedures such as TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, Watchman and LAA closure
- Electrophysiology skills: EPS, arrhythmia induction, ablation, cardiac mapping, conduction studies
- Experience with devices: Impella, IABP, Rotablator (atherectomy), temporary pacemakers, pacemaker/AICD programming
- Proficient documentation in EPIC and strong procedural documentation skills
- Excellent sterile technique, room circulator and scrub responsibilities, and teamwork/communication
