Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and accurately following department and regulatory protocols
• Process and transmit images to PACS in a timely, organized manner
• Serve as a primary patient-facing imaging professional — communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and clinical teams
• Participate in performance improvement (PI) and quality control (QC) activities to maintain high standards
• Follow HFAP/TJC/CMS and State/Federal regulations to ensure compliant imaging operations
• Complete required competence testing and documentation (Prime Core Competencies, Skills Checklist, Specialty Exam)

Qualifications

• Active Radiologic Technologist license/certification with state verification (License/Certificate Verification required)
• BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (listed)
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Current immunizations and health screenings as listed (COVID-19, MMR, TB test/PPD or chest x-ray, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza), plus drug screening and fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic Radiography and radiographic procedures
• PACS operation and image transmission
• Image processing and quality image acquisition
• Quality improvement and performance/QA activities
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (HFAP, TJC, CMS) and state/federal imaging standards
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
• Attention to detail for documentation and licensing/credential maintenance
