Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiography and cardiac imaging studies with attention to diagnostic detail
• Collaborate with cardiologists and the care team to ensure timely, patient-centered imaging results
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging findings in line with facility standards
• Ensure equipment readiness, proper patient positioning, and image optimization for diagnostic accuracy
• Follow infection control, safety, and credentialing policies — your diligence protects patients and staff
• Participate in competency assessments (Prime exams/checklists) and continuous quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• DCI/BVP certification as required by the facility
• License/Certificate Verification completed and up to date
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as required
• Ability to pass required health screenings including drug screening (minimum 10-panel), TB test/PPD, fit test, and required vaccinations (COVID‑19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
• Per diem availability for day shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in echocardiography and cardiac echo imaging
• Knowledge of cardiac imaging protocols and patient safety procedures
• Familiarity with competency testing and credentialing workflows
• Strong patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to work effectively with cardiology teams and interpretive staff
