Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage ventilators and deliver high-quality ventilator care for patients
- Set up and troubleshoot CPAP and BiPAP devices to optimize patient breathing
- Perform nebulizer treatments and manage oxygen delivery (nasal cannula, O2 tanks)
- Continuously monitor pulse oximetry and interpret EKG readings as needed
- Provide patient education on incentive spirometry and respiratory health
- Enter accurate RT charges and documentation in Meditech to support care and billing
- Identify low O2 tanks and maintain equipment readiness for safety
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, competent care
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Experience with ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, pulse oximetry, and EKG use/troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR for documentation and charge entry
- Willingness to work weekends and occasional on-call shifts
- Strong patient assessment and people skills; team player attitude

- Ventilator management and respiratory therapy best practices

- Continuous pulse oximetry monitoring and interpretation
