Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to prevent injury
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Perform responsibilities according to Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and the Trinity Skills Checklist
- Follow infection prevention protocols and maintain a safe, clean care environment
- Document care accurately and promptly in patient records
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and the care team to support coordinated care
- Support patients and families with dignity, empathy, and clear communication
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Successful License/Certificate Verification on file
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Required health screenings and immunizations: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza
- Trinity 10-panel drug screen, fit test, and color vision test as required
- Reliable, patient-centered approach and strong communication skills
Education
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
- Proficiency taking and documenting vital signs
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility support
- Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
- Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
- Ability to complete facility-specific competencies and follow protocols
