Location: Saginaw, MI
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Primarily day shifts (outpatient-focused clinic schedule; approximately 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient). Shared inpatient call schedule and inpatient coverage required; occasional travel to satellite clinics as needed. Exact clinic hours vary by practice site.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope medical oncology and hematology care across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Manage chemotherapy and infusion therapies safely and compassionately
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to deliver patient-centered treatment plans
- Participate in a shared call schedule and coordinate handoffs for inpatient care
- Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities with medical students, residents and APPs
- Contribute to clinical quality initiatives and the center’s high patient experience standards
- Utilize EPIC to document care, coordinate referrals and communicate with care teams
- Support and grow research and academic efforts in partnership with the medical group
Qualifications
- Experienced in medical oncology and hematology care; comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient practice
- Skilled in chemotherapy administration and infusion therapy workflows
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
- Open to new graduates and experienced candidates
- Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 waiver candidates cannot be accepted
- Not accepting Locum Tenens candidates
Knowledge & Skills
- Medical Oncology and Hematology clinical expertise
- Chemotherapy and infusion therapy management
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical workflows
- Solid tumor and benign/malignant hematology management
- Familiarity with radiation oncology technologies and modalities (brachytherapy, Elekta Versa HD, Brainlab/Exactrac) and regionally unique therapies (Xofigo)
- Strong team collaboration and multidisciplinary coordination
- Experience working with or mentoring APPs, students and residents
- Comfort with EMR-based care, specifically EPIC
