Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Location: Hollywood, FL
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Rotating coverage across three hospitals: Level III units provide 24-hour shifts; Level IV offers 10- or 12-hour day shifts and 12- or 16-hour night shifts. Rotating schedule including weekends and cross-hospital coverage (20–30 minute drives between sites).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced neonatal clinical care for high-acuity infants in a Level IV NICU setting
- Manage and stabilize critically ill neonates, making timely, evidence-based decisions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Rotate coverage across multiple hospitals to ensure consistent, high-quality care systemwide
- Document clinical findings, plans and progress clearly and communicate effectively with families
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development initiatives to improve outcomes
Qualifications
- NNP Board Certification required (FNP, PNP or other NP certifications are not accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years current experience practicing as an NNP (no new graduates)
- Demonstrated Level IV NICU and high-acuity neonatal care experience
- Comfortable working 24-hour shifts and a mix of 10/12/16-hour day/night rotations
- Ability to rotate between three hospital sites as part of the team (local driving required)
- Locum candidates are not being considered for this role
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in neonatal intensive care and management of high-acuity neonatal patients
- Experience working in Level IV NICU environments and with complex neonatal cases
- Skilled in shift-based clinical coverage and handoffs across multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art neonatal technologies and best practices
- Strong communication, teamwork and family-centered care approach
