Shift Type: Flexible options: 2-5 days/week with 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (8-hr), 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (10-hr) or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hr) day shifts; Week On/Week Off option: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday 4-hour shift (time to be scheduled) — Day shifts, flexible/rotating options

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient rheumatology care with compassion and clinical excellence
- Offer inpatient specialist consultations as needed in collaboration with the hospitalist team
- Work with subspecialists to manage complex and interesting cases
- Exercise clinical autonomy while contributing input on schedule, volumes and practice operations
- Build respectful, lasting relationships with patients who value your care
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of learning and professional growth
- Partner with local leadership and the care team to continuously improve patient care
Qualifications
- Board-eligible or board-certified rheumatologist preferred; physician-level training expected
- Accepting submissions from new graduates and experienced physicians
- Permanent position; may require residence within the immediate local area — to be discussed at interview
- Not accepting J-1 or H-1B applicants
- Not accepting Locums providers
Education
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of residency and rheumatology fellowship or equivalent training
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong outpatient rheumatology clinical skills
- Comfort providing consultative inpatient care when requested
- Ability to collaborate with hospitalists and subspecialty teams
- Clinical autonomy with sound decision-making
- Interest in mentoring and teaching others
- Effective communication and patient-centered care approach
