Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients in the assigned facility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions
• Deliver individual and group therapy focused on behavioral health and rehabilitation goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and meet facility reporting requirements
• Participate in case reviews, staff consultations, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active license as a Psychologist (PSYL) OR licensure as LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist acceptable)
• Experience providing mental health treatment (correctional or institutional setting experience is a plus)
• Clear clinical documentation skills and the ability to develop treatment plans
• Comfort working within structured facility policies and collaborating with security/operations teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment and diagnostic tools
• Skilled in individual and group psychotherapy modalities
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Ability to create clear, concise clinical documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with cultural sensitivity
