Shift Type: Rotating shifts including days, evenings and weekends; specific start/end times vary based on match and practice schedules (coverage may include daytime practices, evening games, and weekend events) - rotating
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide on-site athletic training coverage for Minot State University Women’s Soccer — be the go-to clinician on game days and practices
- Evaluate, treat and rehabilitate athletic injuries using evidence-based sports medicine practices
- Develop and implement injury prevention and return-to-play programs tailored to individual athletes
- Coordinate athlete care with the Trinity Health Sports Medicine team and campus health services
- Document clinical encounters and scheduling in ShiftWise Flex and ensure timely, accurate records
- Manage vendor onboarding and communicate with vendor pool as needed for contract compliance
- Support coverage for other athletic trainers when staffing needs arise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Board of Certification (BOC) credential / ATC preferred or equivalent certification
- Current North Dakota licensure or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start
- Experience in NCAA Division II athletics and Women’s Soccer strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ShiftWise Flex or similar scheduling/credentialing platforms a plus
- Proven ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication skills and experience with vendor management
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (required)
- Master’s degree or advanced athletic training certification (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive sports medicine and athletic training knowledge
- Acute injury evaluation and on-field emergency care
- Rehabilitation program design and return-to-play decision making
- Familiarity with NCAA rules and athlete welfare practices
- Comfortable with electronic documentation and scheduling systems (ShiftWise Flex)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, PTs, coaches and athletic staff
