Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in vascular, obstetrics and abdomen specialties
• Operate and optimize GE ultrasound systems to capture diagnostic images
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout imaging procedures
• Assess and document imaging findings accurately in the patient record
• Collaborate closely with radiology staff and ordering providers to ensure timely results
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and adhere to infection control protocols
• Follow facility policies, including the mandatory vaccination requirement for this site

Qualifications

• ARDMS Abdomen OR ARDMS Ob/Gyn certification required
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) required
• Comfortable and proficient with GE ultrasound systems
• Proficient with OB imaging across all trimesters
• Minimum 1 year of relevant ultrasound/sonography experience
• Must be fully vaccinated; declinations are not accepted
• Ability to perform overnight shifts and provide reliable coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Vascular ultrasound techniques and protocols
• Abdominal and obstetric sonography across all trimesters
• Strong sonographic image acquisition and optimization skills
• Familiarity with GE ultrasound system operation
• Accurate image documentation and DICOM/EMR workflow
• Clear patient communication and bedside manner
