Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and daily management of the Quality Management & Accreditation program across the system
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management policies, procedures, and improvement initiatives
• Manage accreditation requirements and serve as the subject matter expert for accrediting body standards
• Oversee infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, risk management, and credentialing
• Collaborate with EHR staff to build and maintain quality measurement capability and reporting
• Investigate complaints, provide recommendations, and report findings to Executive Leadership and the Board
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to deliver consistent quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active RN license or comparable clinical degree with relevant quality management experience
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Minimum five years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum three years supervising healthcare professionals
• Demonstrated experience with accreditation, infection prevention, risk management, and compliance
• Ability to travel by jet, small aircraft, and ferry as required

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree (required)
• Master's degree in health-related or business field (preferred)

• Quality and performance improvement strategies and processes
• Accrediting agency requirements and total quality management principles
• Infection prevention and safety practices
• Risk management and patient safety principles
• EHR-based quality measurement and reporting
• Program planning, implementation and evaluation (including PDSA/SQM)
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to influence change across departments and present to diverse audiences
